Carmen has closed
This past Thursday was closing night of Vancouver Opera’s Carmen. I start rehearsals for Rigoletto on Tuesday. I am so excited to be doing the role of Giovanna in VO’s production! As promised, here are some pictures from the backstage of the Queen Elizabeth Theatre from the run of Carmen.
Here is my dressing room table – a tad messy!
The wig area and the lovely ladies who put on our wigs
What we do when we’re not onstage
Heidi Krutzen’s harp case – it lives backstage with us. I LOVE seeing this!
Melody, Raphael and I in our gypsy costumes
Act One chorus tableau
Act Two chorus tableau
Thanks for stopping by! I will be blogging about my experiences doing a role in Rigoletto over the next month. Opening night of Rigoletto happens on March 7.
